Camden Valley Introduction

Camden Valley is located in the southwestern region of Sydney, near Campbelltown, and is a historical area rich in heritage sites. The valley is surrounded by stunning natural landscapes, including national parks, lakes, and rivers, offering visitors an unforgettable hot air balloon experience.

Award-winning Balloon Aloft pioneered Australia’s first commercial hot air balloon flights over 37 years ago. Nestled in the beautiful Macarthur region, Camden Valley is just a 50-60 minute drive from Sydney’s city center, making it an ideal and picturesque flying location.

The journey begins at Camden Valley Inn, where visitors will gather before sunrise. As the sun begins to rise over the horizon, the hot air balloon will ascend 600 to 1,000 meters, offering breathtaking panoramic views. After the flight, enjoy a delicious full-course breakfast, making for a romantic and unique morning experience.

Itinerary Reference

• 04:00 - 04:30 AM: Pick-up time varies and will be confirmed by the balloon company the day before. Summer departures may be earlier.
• 05:00 - 05:30 AM: Arrive at the meeting point, Camden Valley Inn.
• 05:45 - 06:15 AM: After check-in, the pilot will introduce the basics of ballooning. Guests will then be transported to the launch site, where staff will prepare the balloon for takeoff.
• 06:15 - 06:30 AM: The balloon gently lifts into the sky. During the approximately one-hour flight, enjoy stunning views of national parks, lakes, rivers, and the entire Camden Valley region from above.
• 07:30 - 07:45 AM: After about 60 minutes of flight, the balloon will descend. Guests can assist in packing up the balloon or take photos. Staff will then transport guests back to Camden Valley Inn.
• 07:45 - 08:45 AM: Guests who have booked breakfast will enjoy a Champagne Celebration Breakfast at Camden Valley Inn, featuring a delicious à la carte menu.
• 09:00 - 10:30 AM: Guests return to Sydney at their own convenience, marking the end of the tour.

Important Notes

• All prices are calculated in HKD and charged per person (same price for adults and children).
• A minimum of 2 participants is required for this tour. Guests are advised to book at least 12 working days in advance.
• When booking, guests must provide the following information for each participant:
  • Weight (kg)
  • Full name (in English)
  • Gender
  • Residential address
  • Hotel address
• The exact meeting time will be notified via email and SMS in the afternoon or evening one day before the flight. Please ensure that the correct email address and international/Australian mobile number are provided. To ensure everyone receives the notification, the system will also send an email with a live link, allowing guests to check the latest flight status.
• This activity is not suitable for:
  • Guests who have undergone major surgery in the past six months
  • Pregnant women
  • Children under 1.2 meters in height
• Guests are advised to wear appropriate clothing, such as sports shoes, long-sleeved shirts, and long pants. Skirts, high heels, and slippers are not recommended.
• The local provider reserves the right to adjust prices without prior notice.
• Hot air balloon flights are weather-dependent. If the flight is canceled due to weather conditions, guests may reschedule or receive a refund, depending on the ticket type selected.
• Itinerary schedules, sightseeing locations, and meal times may be adjusted based on traffic conditions, and all arrangements will be finalized by the local ground operator.
• The type of vehicle provided will depend on the number of passengers, with the final arrangement determined by the local ground operator.
• Guests must arrive at the meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance. If a guest fails to attend due to personal reasons, no refunds or compensation will be provided.
• Do not bring fresh vegetables, fruits, meat, or seafood into Tasmania.
• Guests are advised to purchase travel insurance before departure to cover personal needs.
• All bookings are non-changeable and non-refundable once confirmed.
