Attraction Introduction

Twelve Zodiac Bends The main transportation to 杉林溪 Forest Resort is via 杉林溪 Highway. This 17-kilometer highway has 18 sections. Starting from the entrance near Mengzong Mountain Villa in Xitou at an altitude of about 1,100 meters, it winds up the mountain slope to an altitude of 1,600 meters. Along the way, the "Zodiac Bends" are named after the 12 zodiac signs for every 180-degree turn, making it a unique feature of this highway.

Forget-worries Forest Originally a pristine forest next to 杉林溪, the Forget-worries Forest became a swamp after the 921 earthquake due to a blocked river. The towering Chinese fir trees also died from being submerged in water for a long time, but this created a unique landscape that attracts many tourists and photographers. The Forget-worries Forest has water on its surface approximately from June to October each year. The dry season of the Forget-worries Forest is approximately from November to May of the following year. *If the shuttle bus is not operating, the tour will be changed to visit a factory in Zhushan.

杉林溪 Forest Ecological Park With an altitude of 1,600 meters, a pleasant summer temperature of only 20 degrees Celsius, and an area of approximately 41 hectares, 杉林溪 water flows year-round. The park is surrounded by lush forests, green mountains, and clear waters. The recreational facilities, planned using the natural landscape, combine nature and humanity. Whether it's early spring, midsummer, cool autumn, or cold winter, you'll always find something new to see and hear. *From March to April, you can see peony flowers, crystal orchids, and wisteria in 杉林溪 Park.
