2025 Osaka Expo Theme: "Blueprint for a Brighter Future of Life"

In November 2018, Japan's Osaka was officially selected as the host city for the 2025 World Expo after two rounds of secret voting by the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE) General Assembly. This marks Osaka's second time hosting the World Expo, the first being in 1970. As a former host city from 20 years ago, Osaka has themed the 2025 Expo as "Designing Future Society for Our Lives" (いのち輝く未来社会のデザイン). The Expo will serve as a "laboratory for future life," offering solutions to societal challenges through cutting-edge global technology to achieve sustainable goals of saving lives, empowering lives, and connecting lives.

• This ticket does not grant direct entry. You must register as a member on the official Expo website, link your ticket, and reserve your visit date, time, and pavilion access.
• Please note that special discount ticket holders are limited to three pavilion reservations.
• Special discount tickets grant a one-time entry between April 13, 2025, and October 13, 2025.

• Only available for purchase by individuals holding a disability certificate and one accompanying person (caretaker).

[Instructions for Use]

Step 1. After purchase, you will receive a PDF file and ticket ID (a 10-character alphanumeric code) via email.

Step 2. Register as a member on the official ticketing website and link the purchased ticket ID (10-character alphanumeric code).

Step 3. Reserve your visit date, time, and pavilion, and receive a QR code.

• Visit Date Reservations: Reservations can be made up to 6 months before the intended visit date.
• Pavilion Reservations:
  You have three opportunities to reserve pavilion activities (lottery + ticket scramble) starting 3 months before the visit date:
  ① First Lottery (2 months before)
  ② Second Lottery (7 days before)
  ③ Last-minute Reservations (3 days before)
  • Note: The last-minute reservation is not a lottery and is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Step 4. Present the QR code on the scheduled date for entry.

• Cancellation Policy: Once the reservation is complete, no changes or cancellations can be made.

2. Special discount tickets are limited to three pavilion activity reservations.
   • Reservations can be made up to 6 months before the intended visit date.
3. The visit date and time can be changed up to three times, but only within the ticket's validity period.
4. Tickets cannot be modified or canceled after purchase.
