■ Dedicated redemption machine for one-way tickets on the Sanyo Shinkansen (Kokura ~ Hakata)

  • Once the e-ticket is redeemed for a "boarding pass ticket", you will not be able to get a refund or change the usage date.
  • On the day of use, you can take the unreserved seats of the Sanyo Shinkansen "NOZOMI", "MIZUHO", "SAKURA", "HIKARI", and "KODAMA" trains.
  • You cannot take the local line on the same section.
  1. Please present the received voucher and go to the "Dedicated redemption machine for one-way tickets on the Sanyo Shinkansen (Kokura ~ Hakata)" at Kokura Station to redeem a "boarding pass ticket".

① Please scan the QR code on the machine.

② Please collect the boarding ticket issued by the redemption machine and enter the station through the ticket gate with station staff.

  1. Redemption location: The "Shinkansen ticket gate" at Kokura Station
    ※ Only tickets departing from Hakata to Kokura can be redeemed at Hakata Station, and only tickets departing from Kokura to Hakata can be redeemed at Kokura Station.

■ Green ticket vending machine

  • Once the reservation is successful, the platform will automatically send a reservation confirmation email to the reserved email address of the booking guest.
  • Please present the received voucher and the passport of the reservation holder (who is not a Japanese national), and go to the designated station ticket vending machine (please refer to the picture below) to redeem the physical ticket.
  • The station ticket vending machine can be used in five languages (Japanese, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, English, and Korean).

  • If the ticket vending machine is malfunctioning or the passport you are holding does not have an IC chip, please go to the green ticket window at the designated station to redeem the physical ticket.

【Purchase Eligibility】

  • Hold a passport issued by a government other than Japan.
  • Hold a residence status equivalent to "Short-term Stay" ( "Short-term Stay" is a residence status stipulated by the Japanese Immigration Control Law).

【Notes】

  • For information on train schedules and the latest operation information, please check the announcements at the ticket gates.
  • When the "Dedicated redemption machine for one-way tickets on the Sanyo Shinkansen (Kokura ~ Hakata)" is out of service due to a malfunction, please redeem the physical ticket at the green ticket vending machine with a passport icon or at the green ticket window.
  • The "Dedicated redemption machine for one-way tickets on the Sanyo Shinkansen (Kokura ~ Hakata)" is available for redemption starting at 05:30 Japan Time every day.
  • During the three busiest periods of the "NOZOMI" (Golden Week, Obon Festival, and New Year's holidays), all train services will be reserved seat trains (with no unreserved seats available). You cannot board with this ticket during these periods. Please take the unreserved seats of the "MIZUHO", "SAKURA", "HIKARI", and "KODAMA" trains instead.
  • In case of train delays or temporary service suspensions, please go to JR West Hakata Station or JR West Kokura Station to handle the relevant procedures.

【Confirmation Details】

  • This product requires double confirmation. After successful reservation, you will receive a confirmation email within 48 hours. Please check your email inbox in a timely manner.
  • When the number of participants does not reach the minimum group size, an email notification of tour cancellation will be sent 4 days before the departure date.

【Refund and Modification Policy】
