2025 Osaka Expo Theme: “Designing Future Society for Our Lives”

In November 2018, Japan’s Osaka was officially selected to host the 2025 World Expo following two rounds of anonymous voting by the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE). This marks the second time Osaka has hosted the World Expo, the first being in 1970. As a former host 20 years ago, Osaka has chosen the theme “Designing Future Society for Our Lives” (いのち輝く未来社会のデザイン). The Expo will serve as a testing ground for the future of life, showcasing advanced global technologies that address societal challenges. The goal is to save lives, empower lives, and connect lives to achieve sustainable development.

Important Notes:

• This ticket does not allow direct admission. Visitors must register as a member on the official Expo website, link the ticket, and reserve the visit date, time, and pavilions in advance.

• Please note: Only 3 pavilion activity reservations are allowed with the Evening Ticket.

• The Evening Ticket allows one-time entry after 5:00 PM on weekdays between April 13, 2025, and October 13, 2025.

How to Use:

Step 1: After purchase, you will receive a PDF file and ticket ID (a 10-character alphanumeric code) via email.

Step 2: Register as a member on the official Expo ticketing website and enter your ticket ID.

Step 3: Reserve your visit date, time, and pavilion(s) to receive your QR code for entry.

• Visit date reservations: Available up to 6 months in advance.

• Pavilion reservations: Available from 3 months before your visit with three booking chances (lottery + general reservation):
  ① First Lottery (2 months before)
  ② Second Lottery (7 days before)
  ③ Last-minute Booking (3 days before) – first-come, first-served, not by lottery

Step 4: Present the QR code on your reserved date for admission.

Cancellation & Change Policy:
Once the reservation is completed, no changes or cancellations are allowed.

Confirmation Details:

• This product requires double confirmation. After your booking is successfully made, you will receive a confirmation email and voucher within 3–5 days. Please check your email inbox in time.

• The Evening Ticket is valid for one-time entry after 5:00 PM on weekdays during the period April 13, 2025 to October 13, 2025.

• Please note: Only 3 pavilion activity reservations are allowed with this Evening Ticket.

• You can reserve your visit up to 6 months in advance.

• The visit date and time can be changed up to 3 times, within the validity period specified for each ticket type.

• Once the ticket is purchased, no changes or cancellations can be made.

• No changes, refunds, or cancellations will be accepted after the booking is confirmed.
