The EXPO 2025 Osaka Kansai will be the first World Expo held in Japan since the 2005 Aichi Expo, marking 20 years since the last event.

【Purchase Information】

• How to Use: After booking, you will receive two PDF files (two e-vouchers) via email. Please present the QR codes at the relevant facility on the travel date to redeem your tickets.

• Validity Period:
  ※ Kansai Wide Area Rail Pass (5 Days): Valid for 90 days from the booking date.
  ※ EXPO 2025 Osaka Kansai One-Day Ticket: Valid for one day only, for single entry between April 13 – October 13, 2025.

• Cancellation Policy: Cancellation is allowed only if none of the tickets have been used within the validity period.

【Product Details】

Kansai Wide Area Rail Pass (5 Days):

1. After the booking is confirmed, a confirmation email will be automatically sent to the email address you provided.

2. Please present the confirmation email (with verification code or QR code) and your non-Japanese passport at a designated ticket machine (see image or link below) to redeem your physical rail pass.
   Ticket machines support five languages: Japanese, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, English, and Korean.

   ※ If the machine malfunctions or your passport lacks an IC chip, please go to a designated JR Green Window (Midori no Madoguchi) to redeem your pass.

3. Once the physical pass is issued, it can be used immediately.

4. Seat Reservations: Before boarding, use your physical pass to reserve a designated seat ticket at a green ticket machine.

5. Different passes allow a different number of seat reservations. Please check the product page for details.

6. Refer to each product page to confirm which trains can be used with a designated seat.

7. Reserved seats must be booked separately via green ticket machines or Green Window counters.

8. If your reserved seat limit is exceeded or if you do not reserve in advance, you can still use the pass for non-reserved seating.

9. For passes that allow unlimited seat reservations, the 7th reservation onward must be done in person at a Green Window counter (not via machine).

【Usage Instructions】

• Step 1: After purchase, you will receive a PDF file and a ticket ID (10-character alphanumeric code) via email.
  ※ Below is a screenshot of the digital ticket.

• Step 2: Register as a member on the official ticketing website and enter your 10-character ticket ID.
  Instructions for EXPO ID registration and ticket ID entry (includes transfer and receiving) are available on the official site.

• Step 3: Reserve your visit date, time, and pavilions, and receive your QR code.

• Visit Reservation: You may reserve the date up to 6 months in advance.

• Pavilion Reservations: You have three opportunities to reserve exhibition pavilions beginning 3 months prior to your visit:
  ① First lottery (2 months in advance)
  ② Second lottery (7 days in advance)
  ③ First-come-first-served slots (3 days before the visit date)

• Step 4: Present your QR code on the reserved date for admission.

※ Cancellation Policy: Once the booking is complete, changes or cancellations are not allowed.

【Important Notes】

1. The one-day ticket allows only one-time entry during the event period: April 13 – October 13, 2025.

2. Pavilion reservations are limited to 3 times per ticket.

3. Visit date and time may be changed up to 3 times, within the validity of the ticket type.

4. No changes or cancellations are allowed after the ticket is purchased.

• This product requires two-step confirmation. After your booking is successful, you will receive a confirmation email and the usage voucher within 3–5 days. Please check your email inbox promptly.

Eligibility & Applicable Participants:

• Kansai Wide Area Rail Pass (5-Day):

  1. Must hold a passport issued by a government outside of Japan.

  2. Must enter Japan under the “Temporary Visitor” status.
     “Temporary Visitor” refers to the status of residence defined under Japanese immigration law.

• EXPO 2025 Osaka Kansai One-Day Admission Ticket:

  • Available for individuals aged 18 and above.

  • Children under 3 years old can enter free of charge.

Important Notes:

• The EXPO one-day ticket is valid for one-time entry only, during the period from April 13, 2025 to October 13, 2025.

• Pavilion activity reservations for the one-day ticket are limited to 3 times.

• Reservations can be made up to six months in advance of the intended visit date.

• The visit date and time can be changed up to three times, within the validity period specified for each ticket type.

• Once purchased, tickets cannot be changed or cancelled.
