【Kumano Grand Fireworks Festival 2025】
— A Traditional Event with Over 300 Years of History —

※ Please note: The beach seating area does not come with mats. Please bring your own picnic mat.
※ After the fireworks festival, the bus will immediately depart overnight for Nagoya. You will sleep on the bus and arrive at Nagoya Station between 5:00–6:00 the next morning. Please understand this arrangement before applying for the tour.

★☆ A Traditional Event Continuing for Over 300 Years — Kumano Grand Fireworks Festival ☆★

This fireworks festival has a history of more than 300 years. It originally began as a ritual to honor the spirits, using fireworks to ignite lanterns for spiritual offerings.
Over time, the festival expanded in scale while preserving its original spirit, including the traditional lantern lighting and commemorative fireworks displays.

Marvel at the breathtaking sight of giant 3-shaku fireworks exploding over the ocean, covering a diameter of about 600 meters! The fireworks, launched from the natural features of Onigajo (a designated scenic spot) — such as rocky cliffs and caves — create an intense and powerful experience of light and sound.
Feel the unique vibrations and winds that can only be experienced at the Kumano site, and fully immerse yourself in this spectacular summer fireworks show.

Event Time: Scheduled from 19:00 to 21:00

Day 1

• Meeting Point: JR Nagoya Station West Exit, Taikodori Exit Bus Parking Area (Gather at 10:15 / Depart at 10:30)

• Attend the Kumano Grand Fireworks Festival 2025
  (Experience the famous 3-shaku ocean explosion fireworks and the spectacular Onigajo fireworks from “Paid Beach Group Seats” — designated sections separated by ropes.)

• Return to the bus parking area – Overnight on the bus

Day 2

• Rest stops (twice) during the bus ride

• Arrival at JR Nagoya Station West Exit (estimated between 5:15 and 6:00)
  【Bus travel distance: approximately 200 km】

Important Notes

• If you do not receive a cancellation notice from us by four days before the departure date, the tour will proceed as scheduled.

• After booking, we will not send any additional emails except for the booking confirmation and cancellation notice.
  You can check the meeting time and meeting location from the Member Page → Schedule → Tour Information before the departure day.

• Our tour staff will be holding a “Hankyu Travel/Trapics” signboard (or a flag).
  Please carefully check the name of your tour and show your name to the staff at the meeting point. Please gather with your companions before checking in.

• Please note that in Japan, the roles of guides and tour conductors are different.
  This tour will not be accompanied by a guide, only by a tour conductor (responsible for schedule and time management only).

• The accompanying tour conductor can only speak Japanese. However, they will carry a tablet with a translation function. In case of emergency, please seek their assistance.

• This tour will be conducted together with Japanese participants.

• The tour confirmation documents, meeting place information, and other travel materials will be provided in English only.

• Sightseeing guides or manuals are available only in Japanese.

• Under Japanese law, the tour conductor cannot provide explanations while the bus is moving. Also, the tour conductor will not guide you at sightseeing spots.

• As this is a group tour, seat assignments are based on bus layout and reservation order. Even for participants who book together, seats may be separated (front/back).
  We cannot accept requests for window or aisle seats.

• Meal content changes cannot be accommodated.

• Infants and toddlers under 6 years old are not allowed to join the tour.

• Children aged 6 and above are charged the same as adults.

About the Kumano Grand Fireworks Festival

• This tour uses group beach seating (for 50 participants).

• In case the fireworks event is canceled after departure due to heavy rain, no refunds will be given.

• Two bus drivers are assigned for the overnight return trip to ensure safety.

• A standard sightseeing bus will be used (blankets will not be provided; please bring your own if needed).

• Since the return trip occurs late at night, children under school age cannot participate.

• Solo travelers are welcome to join.

• To coordinate with the operation of public transportation, there may be rest periods at highway service areas during the return trip.

• Due to traffic regulations at the fireworks venue, there may be waiting times when arriving or departing.

• Please prepare for hot weather and crowded conditions that may cause discomfort.
  Bring hats, sunglasses, water bottles, sunshades, picnic mats, rain gear (raincoats or ponchos), and other heatstroke prevention items.

• In case of heavy rain or rough seas, the fireworks festival may be postponed.

• Due to the large crowd, arrival and return times may be significantly delayed.

• Please wear comfortable and familiar footwear on the day of the tour.

• The venue is a sandy and rocky beach, and walking can be difficult.
  It may take about 20–30 minutes on foot from the fireworks site to the bus parking area. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.

• As seats are pre-assigned for the group, you cannot freely choose your seat. The tour conductor will guide you on the day.

• Even if you book together with companions, your seats may be assigned separately (front, back, or nearby).

• Beach seats do not come with mats. Please bring your own picnic mat.

• To avoid traffic congestion, arrival will be scheduled before the fireworks begin.
  (Fireworks are scheduled to start at 19:00. You may have free time or need to wait after arrival.)

• The 2025 festival schedule is not yet officially released. Event times are based on the 2024 festival as a reference.

• The final itinerary will be sent via email 5 to 7 days before departure.

Confirmation Details

• This tour requires two-step confirmation. After booking, a confirmation email will be sent within 48 hours. Please check your email promptly.

• If the minimum number of participants is not reached, a cancellation notice will be sent by email four days before departure.

• If you do not receive any emails within the designated period, please check your inbox and spam/junk folders.

How to Use

• Please present either a printed voucher or an electronic voucher on your mobile device when participating in the activity.

• Meeting Details: Please arrive at the meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance.

• If you arrive early, please wait patiently near the designated meeting location.
