【Attraction Highlights】

■ Fukuroi Enshu Fireworks Festival

Every summer, Fukuroi City in Shizuoka Prefecture hosts the world-famous Fukuroi Enshu Fireworks Festival.
With over 25 years of history, it is the largest fireworks event in Shizuoka and one of the most prestigious in Japan, attracting more than 400,000 visitors each year.
This festival is celebrated not just for its scale but for the perfect fusion of competition and artistry, where only Japan’s top pyrotechnicians gather to showcase their extraordinary skills and creativity.

One of the most iconic highlights is the grand finale—the "Japan’s Largest Ultra-Wide Starmine"—where fireworks stretch across a 300-meter wide launch zone.
Set to Edward Elgar’s famous piece Pomp and Circumstance, the sky becomes a breathtaking panorama of light and color, offering a full sensory experience.

In addition to the competitive displays, single-shot performances are equally spectacular. Notably, the renowned Isogai Fireworks from Okazaki City in Aichi Prefecture presents a "Melody Fireworks Show," precisely synchronized with classical music through computer control, creating a flawless visual symphony.

Another unforgettable moment is the "Niagara Falls of Fire," inspired by Mt. Fuji—a 200-meter-long waterfall of silver sparks cascading from the sky, transforming the venue into a dreamlike world of light.

At specially designated paid seating areas, spectators can enjoy the incredible sight of fireworks launching and bursting almost directly overhead.
The visual, auditory, and emotional impact of the Fukuroi Enshu Fireworks Festival is an unparalleled experience unlike any other in Japan.

If you wish to create the most dazzling memory of your Japanese summer, the Fukuroi Enshu Fireworks Festival is an absolute must-see.
We invite you to come to Fukuroi, Shizuoka, and join tens of thousands of spectators in marveling at the brilliance of the night sky—an exquisite expression of Japan’s fireworks artistry.
