Itinerary

Day 1Assemble at Hong Kong West Kowloon (around 07:30) → Take the express train to Xiamen (about 4 hours) → Lunch [at own expense on the high-speed train] → Change to a local coach → [Lingling International Circus City] (admission included), certified as the "Guinness World Record circus theatre", where a top-class stage of sound, light and effects delivers a feast of extraordinary skill → [Lingling Animal Kingdom] (admission included) to see giant pandas, giraffes and other rare animals → Dinner [Xiamen Tong'an braised pork belly banquet] → Check in to the hotel.
Direct services are booked first, failing which a connecting service via Shenzhen North Station is used to reach Chaoshan. The guide will confirm the arrangement before departure, and customers may not use it as grounds to withdraw or to claim compensation.

Included
  • Flights / high-speed rail: flights (group economy class) / high-speed rail (group second class); please see the notes in the itinerary for details.
  • Hotel: as listed in the itinerary or equivalent, based on two people sharing a room. The single room supplement applies where one person occupies a room.
  • Meals: the group meals listed in the itinerary, subject to the supplier's final arrangement.
  • Local transport: air-conditioned coaches; heating and cooling are operated in line with local regulations.
  • Sightseeing: each item is based on the sightseeing programme and admission fees listed in the itinerary.
  • The Hong Kong Travel Industry Authority levy.

  • Travel documents and entry visa fees for each country.

  • Additional costs arising from traffic delays, strikes, typhoons or other unforeseen events beyond the Company's control.

Booking Notes

Registration Notes
  • • This product requires two confirmations. The Company processes the order as soon as payment succeeds; if the tour cannot proceed we notify you by email or telephone before departure.
  • • Every customer joining this tour must hold valid comprehensive travel insurance; customers may buy travel insurance through the Company or provide valid proof of cover 14 days before departure, failing which the Company reserves the right to decide whether the customer may travel.
  • • If the number of participants is odd, the customer must pay the single room supplement. A customer unwilling to pay the single room supplement must give up half a room, that is, 3 people share a room (normally with two single beds).
  • • If the group has fewer than 10 participants, it may depart without a Hong Kong tour leader, and customers may not object or withdraw on these grounds.
  • • This tour does not include a tea gathering.
  • • Please see the website or ask counter staff for the itinerary prices above; the exact tour fare is the one confirmed at enrolment. Peak season increases are notified separately.
  • • If you have not received the email in your inbox or junk folder within the stated time, please contact our travel consultants promptly by email or by telephone on +852 2152-3599 during office hours.
Cancellation Policy
  • • Bookings cannot be refunded or changed once confirmed.
  • • If the tour is cancelled before departure for any reason, customers will be notified before the date directed by the Travel Industry Authority, and may choose to change to another date or to receive a full refund of the tour fare.
  • • Fuel surcharges, taxes and other service charges are subject to the final announcement made by the airline or the relevant authority on the date of ticket issue. The Company will refund any overcharge to customers, or recover from customers any additional amount arising from currency fluctuations, which must be paid before departure. Customers may not object or withdraw on these grounds.
  • • The Company reserves the right to take any reasonable action, including but not limited to cancelling or shortening the itinerary, in the event of war, political unrest, terrorist attack, natural disaster, epidemic, severe weather, technical problems with the means of transport, temporary changes to schedules or timetables by the carrier, strikes and industrial action, travel warnings issued by the government of the destination or by the World Health Organization, Red or Black Outbound Travel Alerts issued by the Government of the Hong Kong SAR, and any other circumstances beyond the industry's control that are unfavourable to travel. Provided that the Company notifies customers in good time, the Company shall bear no liability.
Document Requirements
  • • [Travelling to Mainland China]
  • • Entry into Mainland China requires a valid Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Residents (Home Return Permit), or, for foreign passport holders, a valid Chinese visa. Customers must therefore confirm the validity dates of their own documents, failing which entry will be refused.
  • • [Travelling to Other Destinations]
  • • Customers must present valid travel documents and proof of identity. Travel documents must be valid for more than six months counting from the group's return date. Any loss arising from being unable to enter or leave a country because of an invalid document is borne by the customer.
  • • [Visa Information]
  • • If a visa is required for the destination, customers must travel with a valid entry visa. Otherwise the airline is entitled to refuse boarding and the local immigration authority is entitled to refuse entry. The Company accepts no responsibility in such circumstances.
  • • Holders of a foreign passport (without a Hong Kong Identity Card) must travel with a return air ticket to their country of residence, otherwise the airline may refuse boarding for the return to Hong Kong.
Special Notes
  • • Customers must obtain the levy receipt in order to be protected by the Travel Industry Compensation Fund. Please ask counter staff about the levy amount.
  • • Seasonal items listed in the itinerary (such as viewing flowers, snow or autumn leaves, or bird watching) can only be arranged if the conditions, weather and timing allow. Where circumstances beyond control intervene they may not be seen, and no refund is available.
  • • Should the order of the itinerary, the meals or the accommodation change, the local receiving arrangements apply, without further notice.
  • • For local entry and quarantine information, please follow the requirements announced by the local government and prepare in good time.
  • • To protect consumer rights, please read the "Tour Enrolment and Liability Terms" carefully. Customers may request a copy from branch staff or refer to the liability terms on the reverse of the receipt, and may download the latest version from the Travel Expert website.
