6.The Offer cannot be exchanged for cash or any other item of equivalent value.

7."Safeguard Accidental Hospital Income Protection Plan" (“the Plan”) is provided and underwritten by the insurer. The Plan will be automatically terminated after 6-month benefit term.

8.Eligible Person is not automatically entitled to the Plan upon complete application on the registration website. To enjoy the protection, eligible person is required to read and agree the terms and conditions, input the promotion code (“Promo Code”) and required personal information, and to complete the application on the Enrollment Link on or before 31 December, 2022 23:59. Eligible Person can enjoy the Plan provided by the Underwriter for free upon completion of the application for the Plan, acceptance of the application by the Underwriter with issuance of the policy document. Each Eligible Person is entitled to apply for the Plan once only.

9.The Coupon Code and the Promo Code for the Plan will be provided at the registration website completion page. Eligible Persons are required to mark down the relevant information by themselves in order to redeem the Coupon Code and enrollment for the Plan.

10.The Coupon Code should be redeemed by the Eligible Person on or before 31 March, 2022 21:59. All unused Coupon Codes will be void after 31 March, 2022 21:59.

11.Each Coupon Code can be used once only. The Coupon Code can be used either in the Travel Expert website (i.e. Texpert.com) or its retail shops (i.e. Travel Expert retail shop, Premium Holidays retail shops or Cruise Expert retail shops). Travel Expert reserves the right to accept or reject the coupon.

12.Each Eligible Person can apply for the Offer once only with one Hong Kong mobile phone number. In order to confirm and verify the mobile phone number entered by the Eligible Person is a valid Hong Kong mobile phone number, Eligible Person will be required to following the instructions and fill in the "one-time password" that to be sent via SMS to complete the registration.

13.Important notes for redeeming the Coupon Code via Texpert.com

(i)To enjoy the HK$100 discount, Eligible Person is required to input the Coupon Code during the transaction page in Texpert.com to purchase Travel Expert’s Designated Hotel Page Products and Seacation products (excluding the excluded products or activities as announced by Travel Expert from time to time). (ii)The Coupon Code cannot be used in conjunction with other promotions.

(iii)Coupon Code must be entered by the Eligible Person before checkout to enjoy HK$100 discount.

(iv)If the Coupon Code is not entered during the booking process, no deduction, refund or changes can be claimed after the transaction is completed.

14.Important notes for redeeming Coupon Code in Travel Expert, Premium Holidays or Cruise Expert retail shops

(i)Eligible Person must present the relevant Coupon Code to the retail shops’ travel consultants before the payment.

(ii)The Coupon Code is applicable to all travel-related products in the shop. Each Eligible Person who successfully registered and presented the Coupon Code can enjoy a discount of HK$100 (excluding those excluded products or activities announced by Travel Expert, Premium Holidays and Cruise Expert from time to time. (iii)If the Coupon Code is not present during the booking process, no deduction, refund or changes can be claimed after the transaction is completed.

16.The Insurer is authorized and regulated by the Insurance Authority to carry on life insurance business in Hong Kong.

17.The Insurer reserves the right to revise, suspend or cancel the Plan, the service, promotion, or to revise the relevant terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.

18.The Plan is undertaken by the Insurer and subject to all terms and conditions as well as the policy provisions. Travel Expert is not responsible and liable for any quality, safety or legality of the Plan provided by the Insurer. The accuracy or reliability of any information, advertisements or contents contained on, distributed through, or linked, downloaded or accessed from the Offer is not endorsed or represented by Travel Expert.

19.Any enquiry or complaint in respect of the Plan should be directed to the Underwriter. Each Eligible Person’s participation in the Offer is voluntary and he/she shall participate in the Plan at his/her own risk. Neither Travel Expert nor the Insurer shall be responsible for any loss, damages, costs, claims, proceedings (including but not limited to direct, indirect and consequential loss) incurred or suffered by the Eligible Person as a result of his/her participation in the Offer.

20.Please refer to the terms and conditions stipulated in the policy by the Underwriter for details of the coverage of the Plan. Please refer to the policy document for the details of the insured items and coverage, provision and exclusions.

21.Eligible Person must ensure that the information provided is true and accurate during registration, further amendment is not allowed after completion of the registration. If any information provided is found to be false, omitted or inaccurate, the registration shall be deemed to be invalid. Travel Expert and the Insurer will not take any responsibility if the Eligible Person fails to register for the offer due to dishonest conduct, false or inaccurate information.

22.The Insurer is not an agent or distributor of Travel Expert, and will not receive any remuneration as a result of your use of Coupon Codes. The Insurer will not be responsible for any consequences due to the use of Coupon Codes under any circumstances.

23.Travel Expert and Insurer are not responsible for any delay, loss, error, or unrecognition of the information submitted by Eligible Persons due to technical problems with computers and networks.

24.If Travel Expert and/or the Insurer suspect or detect that the Eligible Person has (i) carried out or is related to any abnormal/suspect activity, (ii) used improper methods or fraudulent behaviors to interrupt or interfere any part of the Offer which causes technical problems, (iii) any dishonest behavior, provision of false or incorrect information , or (iv) any violation of terms and conditions or laws or provisions of the Plan ; Travel Expert and the Insurer have the right to disqualify any person without any notice and without any responsibility, and reserve the right to pursue legal action against that person.

25.This promotional material is for reference only and is intended to be distributed in Hong Kong only. It shall not be construed as an offer to sell or solicitation of an offer or recommendation to purchase of any product of the Insurer outside Hong Kong.

26.The Offer shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Hong Kong.

27.Travel Expert and Insurer reserve the right to change the Offer content and terminate the Offer at any time without prior notice.

28.In case of any dispute about the Offer, Travel Expert and Insurer reserve the right to the final decision.

29.Should there be any discrepancy between the English and Chinese version of this promotional materials, the Chinese version shall prevail.
