These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all bookings, purchases, and related transactions made through our website, application, or other platforms, including but not limited to flights, hotels, cruises, attraction tickets, and rail passes. By using our services, you agree to comply with these Terms and the terms of relevant third-party suppliers. If you do not agree, please do not use our services. These Terms may be updated from time to time, with the latest version published on our website or application. Significant changes will be notified via email or our website.

Texpert is a subsidiary of Travel Expert (Asia) Enterprises Limited, a licensed online travel agency registered under the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, holding a Travel Agent License (License Number: 353969) issued by the Travel Industry Authority. 2. Scope of These Terms

These Terms apply to your use of our website or application for booking travel products. We act as an intermediary, collaborating with airlines, hotels, cruise operators, and other third-party suppliers (“Suppliers”) to facilitate your bookings and travel arrangements. Your bookings are also subject to the terms and conditions of the relevant Suppliers (e.g., airline or hotel terms), which you should review carefully before booking, as they constitute a separate legal agreement between you and the Supplier. In case of any inconsistency between these Terms and Supplier terms, these Terms shall prevail.

You confirm that you have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts (including meeting the minimum legal age in your jurisdiction) and use our services only for lawful purposes. If you book on behalf of others, you are responsible for:

• Providing accurate information about those individuals;

• Ensuring they are aware of and accept these Terms and the relevant Supplier terms;

• Verifying the accuracy of booking confirmation details and contacting us immediately if errors are found;

• Paying the full cost of the booking and any associated fees.

3. Website Usage Rules

Website Content Updates

We may periodically update or modify website content to reflect changes in services, user needs, or business operations. We will endeavor to notify you of significant changes in advance.

Website Availability

Our website and application are provided free of charge but are not guaranteed to be always available or uninterrupted. We may suspend, remove, or restrict access to all or part of the website for business or operational reasons, with efforts to provide advance notice.

Technical Requirements

4. General Booking Terms

Information and Pricing

You confirm that the information provided during booking (e.g., name, contact details, payment information, travel dates) is true and accurate. Texpert will endeavor to assist with corrections if errors occur, but we cannot guarantee Suppliers will allow changes (especially identity-related changes). Texpert is not liable for losses due to inaccurate information.

We strive to ensure website pricing accuracy, but errors may occur. If we identify a clear pricing error, we reserve the right to cancel the booking or adjust the price (with your consent) and will notify you promptly.

Booking Process

Upon completing a booking, you will receive a confirmation email containing order details and a Texpert order number. Please review the confirmation email and contact us immediately if errors are found. Providing the order number during inquiries helps us process your requests efficiently.

Bookings are subject to availability. We strive to keep website information updated but do not guarantee all travel products are always available. If a product is unavailable, we will notify you as soon as possible. Texpert reserves the right to request additional verification information; failure to provide satisfactory information may result in the order being deemed incomplete and canceled, with Texpert not liable for resulting losses.

Excluded Costs

Unless explicitly stated, fees do not include:

• Travel documents, visas, or transit visa costs;

• Excess baggage fees;

• Additional costs due to private transport delays, strikes, typhoons, natural disasters, political unrest, pandemics, or other circumstances beyond Texpert’s control;

• Travel insurance costs. We recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance in advance; contact our travel consultants or branches for assistance.

Payment and Currency

Payment terms are specified at the time of booking, with some products requiring online prepayment and others payable upon use (e.g., at hotel check-in). To ensure secure and efficient transactions, your payment details (e.g., credit card numbers or other payment method details) are processed by our trusted third-party payment service providers; see our Privacy Policy for details. Failure to make full payment on time may result in booking cancellation, particularly in cases involving fraud or invalid payment methods.

Online payments are settled in the displayed currency. If you use a different currency, your account provider may charge international payment fees or apply different exchange rates, for which Texpert is not responsible. Refunds will be processed via the original payment method, with the refund date subject to your account provider’s processing times.

Data Sharing

To process your bookings and provide personalized services, we may share your personal information with airlines, hotels, cruise operators, or other travel agencies. We may also share data with other subsidiaries of Travel Expert (Asia) Enterprises Limited to coordinate services or promote related travel products. Travel Preparation

You are responsible for preparing necessary travel documents (e.g., passports, visas, vaccination certificates) and purchasing appropriate travel insurance. Texpert’s provision of travel products does not imply confirmation of destination safety. We recommend checking travel advisories or restrictions for your destination in advance and following medical advice.

Travel Industry Compensation Fund

Under the directives of the Travel Industry Authority, licensed travel agents must pay a levy to the Travel Industry Compensation Fund (“Fund Levy”) to protect travelers against financial losses due to travel agent default or insolvency, or costs related to death or personal injury caused by accidents during outbound travel services. Per the Travel Industry (Compensation Fund Levy - Percentage of Outbound Fare) Notice, the Fund Levy is currently set at 0% of the outbound fare, unless otherwise specified by the Travel Industry Authority for specific services (e.g., package tours or cruise packages). To ensure eligibility for Travel Industry Compensation Fund protection, please:

• Engage a travel agent licensed in Hong Kong (e.g., Texpert, License Number: 353969);

• Obtain and retain a receipt bearing a levy stamp after paying for outbound travel services;

• Carefully verify the receipt to ensure it includes details of the outbound travel services and the levy stamp. If you plan to purchase multiple outbound travel services, please notify us to combine them into an outbound travel package to ensure eligibility for protection. 5. Flight Booking Terms

Airline Terms

Your flight bookings are subject to the terms and conditions of the respective airline (typically found on the airline’s website). In case of inconsistencies with these Terms (e.g., restrictions on low-cost ticket changes or refunds), these Terms shall prevail. For questions, contact our customer service.

Booking Process

After payment, you will receive a “Flight Payment Successful” email, followed by a “Flight Booking Confirmed” email containing the itinerary, electronic receipt, and airline booking reference number. Low-cost tickets or bookings close to departure (within 3 days of travel) may require ticketing within 72 hours, with details provided at booking. If you do not receive confirmation or tickets, contact us immediately.

Changes and Cancellations

Rights to change or cancel, along with applicable fees (e.g., HKD 380 handling fee), are specified at booking. Some low-cost tickets may not permit changes or refunds. You may request changes or cancellations via your website account or by contacting us, subject to airline restrictions. If an airline modifies or cancels a flight, their terms apply, and Texpert will assist you. Fees are non-refunded if you voluntarily abandon your itinerary or fail to board on time.

Important Information

You are responsible for checking airline policies on check-in times, seat selection, baggage limits, and special requests (e.g., special meals, wheelchairs). Tickets must be used in the order of the itinerary, or they may become invalid. Pregnant passengers (28 weeks or more) or infants (under 6 weeks) may face restrictions, and children aged 2 or older require individual seats. Frequent flyer program rewards are subject to airline confirmation.

You must arrive at the airport at least 3 hours before flight departure for check-in, as check-in counters close 60 minutes prior. Some airlines require reconfirmation of return flights 72 hours in advance; failure to do so may result in cancellation, for which Texpert is not liable.

6. Hotel Booking Terms

Hotel Terms

Your hotel bookings are subject to the hotel’s terms and conditions (typically found on the hotel’s website). In case of inconsistencies with these Terms (e.g., restrictions on budget room types), these Terms shall prevail. For questions, contact our customer service.

Hotel Offers

We offer hotel bookings in multiple destinations, including Japan, Taiwan, China, Thailand, and other regions. Specific offer details are available on our website or application, subject to availability and hotel terms.

Booking Process

We aim to send confirmation emails within the specified timeframe, with most room types confirmed instantly. If confirmation fails, fees will be fully refunded within 21 working days. If a hotel cannot locate your booking upon arrival, your booking remains protected; please contact us for assistance.

Changes and Cancellations

Rights to change or cancel, along with applicable fees (e.g., HKD 380 handling fee, if applicable), are specified at booking. Some room types may not permit changes or refunds. You may request changes or cancellations via your website account or by contacting us, subject to hotel restrictions. If a hotel modifies or cancels a booking, their terms apply, and Texpert will provide assistance.

Hotel Information

• Hotel rooms exclude breakfast (unless otherwise stated) and may require additional government taxes.

• Double/twin rooms are limited to 2 adults or 1 adult with 1 child; double rooms provide 2 single beds or 1 double bed; twin rooms have smaller bed sizes and room areas.

• Triple rooms provide 2 single beds or 1 double bed with a rollaway bed/sofa bed.

• Taiwan hotels require additional bed fees for children over 110 cm in height; travelers failing to provide relevant information remain liable for these fees.

• Hotel offers are limited to 2 persons per room; unused offers are forfeited. Hotel star ratings, facilities, and photos are provided by hotels for reference only, with standards varying by region. Texpert is not liable for discrepancies. Travelers under 18 without parental or adult accompaniment require hotel approval.

Payment

For online bookings with in-branch payment, payments within 7 days of departure will not accept checks.

7. Cruise Product Terms

Cruise Operator Terms

Cruise bookings are subject to the cruise operator’s terms and conditions (based on the English version of their itinerary). Cruise routes, docking times, taxes, and cabin assignments are subject to the cruise operator’s final arrangements, and Texpert is not liable for changes or cancellations.

Fees and Refunds

Port taxes and government taxes adjusted before ticketing require additional payment; no refunds are issued for adjustments after ticketing. Airport/port transfer fees are borne by travelers.

Travel Industry Compensation Fund

Cruise package receipts bear a levy stamp, confirming payment of the Travel Industry Compensation Fund levy, ensuring protection under the Fund. For details, contact the Travel Industry Compensation Fund Management Committee Secretariat at 3151 7945.

8. Attraction Tickets and Rail Passes Terms

Usage and Refunds

Attraction tickets and rail passes must be used within their validity period or on the specified date; expired tickets are non-refunded. Refunds for rail passes or tickets (if permitted and unused) incur applicable handling fees, with details provided at booking. For online bookings with in-branch payment, payments within 7 days of departure will not accept checks.

Supplier Terms

Bookings are subject to supplier terms, provided at the time of booking. If a supplier modifies or cancels an order, their terms apply, and Texpert will provide assistance.

9. Travel Documents and Visas

Document Requirements

You are responsible for ensuring travel documents (e.g., passports, visas) are valid for at least 6 months from the return departure date. Hong Kong residents holding foreign passports must carry a Hong Kong ID card. Taiwan visa-on-arrival requires a Hong Kong ID card and a passport indicating “Hong Kong” as the place of birth. U.S.-bound travelers must apply for an Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA).

Visa Responsibilities

You are responsible for confirming and obtaining valid visas for your destination (if applicable). Visa requirements may change, and travelers should check with the relevant consulate in advance. Non-Hong Kong SAR citizens must independently verify destination visa requirements. Texpert is not liable for consequences arising from invalid visas, delays, or document issues. Travelers must comply with destination laws, including accurate declarations of carried items and cash.

10. Special Requests

Seating and Services

Texpert cannot guarantee airline seat assignments (especially in economy class), which are subject to airline arrangements. Special requests (e.g., meals, wheelchairs, infant bassinets) are submitted by Texpert but require confirmation by the airline or hotel.

11. Limitation of Liability

As an intermediary, Texpert is responsible only for facilitating bookings and is not liable for Suppliers’ actions, service quality, or itinerary changes. Within the scope permitted by Hong Kong law, Texpert is not liable for losses or damages resulting from:

• Errors in booking information (e.g., name, contact details, dates);

• Failure to obtain necessary travel documents or valid visas;

• Failure to purchase appropriate travel insurance;

• Non-compliance with Supplier terms or failure to arrive on time;

• Missed connections or transfers;

• Invalid discount cards or duplicate bookings;

• Exchange rate fluctuations or account provider fees;

• Force majeure events (e.g., typhoons, pandemics, wars, internet instability). The website is for personal use only, and Texpert is not liable for commercial losses (e.g., loss of profits or business interruption).

Breach of Terms

If you breach these Terms or applicable laws, we may take the following actions:

• Cancel orders or restrict service access;

• Remove user content;

• Issue warnings or pursue legal action;

• Disclose information to law enforcement or relevant authorities (e.g., government departments, regulators, legal advisors, accountants, or anti-fraud organizations) to comply with Hong Kong legal obligations or protect Texpert’s rights, property, or the safety of our users and the public; see our Privacy Policy for details. Order cancellations may be non-refunded, particularly in cases of fraud or breach of Terms. If you believe an order was canceled in error, contact us, but Texpert is not liable for resulting losses.

1. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, with any disputes handled by Hong Kong courts.

2. Language

In case of discrepancies between the Chinese and English versions of these Terms, the English version shall prevail.
