How to Use

After completing your booking, you will receive two PDF files via email (containing two electronic vouchers). Please present the QR code at the designated locations to exchange for physical tickets.

Validity Period

• Kansai Wide Area Rail Pass (5 Days): Valid for 90 days from the date of reservation.
• Setouchi Triennale 2025 Art Appreciation Passport – All-Season Passport: Valid from April 18, 2025, to November 9, 2025.

Upon successful booking, an automatic confirmation email will be sent to the email address registered in your reservation.

📌 How to Redeem:

1. Show the confirmation email with the verification code or QR code, along with a non-Japanese passport at a designated ticket machine (see link below) to redeem your physical rail pass.
2. Ticket machines support five languages (Japanese, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, English, and Korean).
3. If the ticket machine is out of order or your passport lacks an IC chip, please visit the Midori no Madoguchi (Green Ticket Counter) at a designated station to exchange for a physical ticket.

✅ Redeeming a Reserved Seat Ticket:
Before using the pass, please exchange your physical rail pass for a reserved seat ticket at a Midori no Madoguchi (Green Ticket Counter) or a green ticket machine.

[Exchange Notes]

• JR West Rail Pass Reserved Seats: Different rail passes allow different numbers of reserved seat exchanges. Please refer to the product page for details.
• If reserved seat allocations are used up or no reservation is made, the pass can still be used to board non-reserved seats.
• For rail passes with unlimited reserved seat exchanges, if a traveler has exchanged 7 or more reserved seat tickets, they must book manually at the Green Ticket Counter rather than using the ticket machine.

Kansai Wide Area Rail Pass (5-Day Pass)

• Must be 12 years or older at the time of voucher issuance or rail pass purchase.
• Must hold a passport issued by a government outside of Japan.
• Must have a "Temporary Visitor" visa status, as defined by Japan’s Immigration Control and Refugee Recognition Act.

• No age restrictions; applicable to both adults and children.
