The Atami Fireworks Festival is one of the most popular summer events in Atami City, known for its long history and captivating charm.

The fireworks are launched over Atami Bay, which is surrounded by mountains on three sides. The bay’s unique topography creates an impressive acoustic effect, causing the booming sounds of the fireworks to echo across the water like in a large stadium. This natural amphitheater enhances the drama and intensity of the fireworks show.

During the festival, the area around the venue comes alive with traditional Japanese food stalls (yatai) offering local favorites such as candied apples, chocolate-dipped bananas, yakisoba (fried noodles), grilled shrimp, grilled squid, and more.

You’ll also have the chance to ride a Noryosen (summer evening boat) and view the fireworks up close from the water — a truly unforgettable experience.

Due to unpredictable factors such as traffic conditions, weather, festivals, or crowds on the day of the tour, the arrival times for each itinerary may change.

According to Japanese law, a driver's maximum working hours are limited to 10 hours. To ensure the safety of the driver and the stability of the journey, the itinerary may be adjusted based on actual circumstances. This may include shortening the duration at certain attractions or canceling some stops. We sincerely hope all travelers understand and support the adjustments we make to prioritize safety.

We deeply apologize for any inconvenience caused by the above or other force majeure circumstances. Please understand that we will not be able to offer refunds in such cases. This decision is made out of responsibility for the safety of both the driver and passengers, and to ensure the smooth operation of the entire group. We are committed to providing you with the best travel experience, but in certain situations, we must make flexible itinerary adjustments according to actual conditions. Other force majeure circumstances may include, but are not limited to:

• Natural Disasters: Such as earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, floods, typhoons, etc., which may affect the itinerary.

• Traffic Accidents: Road accidents, traffic congestion, and similar situations may cause delays.

• Weather Conditions: Severe weather such as heavy snow, rainstorms, or thick fog may impact transportation and scheduling.

• Government Regulations: Emergency laws, traffic controls, or similar government measures may cause itinerary changes.

• Health Emergencies: Sudden health issues of travelers or team members requiring emergency medical attention may lead to itinerary adjustments.

• Social Events: Strikes, protests, or civil unrest may unpredictably affect traffic and the itinerary.

• Mechanical Failures: Vehicle breakdowns or mechanical issues may result in delays.

Minimum Group Size:
The minimum number of participants required is 10. If the number of participants does not reach the minimum, the tour will be canceled, and a cancellation email will be sent 3 days prior to departure.

In the event of cancellation of the riverboat cruise due to weather or other force majeure factors, no refund will be issued for the cruise fee.

In the case of adverse weather conditions such as typhoons or snowstorms, a decision on whether to proceed with the tour will be made by 12:00 noon (local time) the day before departure. Notifications will then be sent via email.

Please arrive at the designated meeting point at least 15 minutes before the scheduled time. To avoid delays in the itinerary, the bus will not wait for late arrivals.

It is essential to adhere to the meeting time. If you are late due to personal reasons, no refunds will be provided. Thank you for your understanding.

Eating, drinking, and loud conversations are prohibited on the bus.

In case of bad weather or traffic issues, there may be changes to the itinerary, or sightseeing spots may be canceled or shortened. Your understanding is appreciated.

If the return trip is delayed due to traffic conditions and results in missing public transportation, any costs incurred for taxis or other transport will be the responsibility of the guest.

The duration of visits to attractions may vary depending on road conditions or the number of participants.

If you are late due to traffic and miss the tour, it will be considered a voluntary cancellation and no refund will be issued.

No refunds will be provided for voluntary withdrawal from the tour due to personal reasons.

Bus seats cannot be reserved in advance. Smoking is prohibited on the bus, and there are no restrooms onboard.

Age and Height Requirements:
Children must be at least 3 years old and 80 cm in height to join the tour. Children under 2 years old are not allowed to join, even with a guardian.

Customers are responsible for checking that the name and purchased product listed on the voucher are correct. Any mistakes are the sole responsibility of the customer.

Confirmation Details:
This product requires double confirmation. After a successful reservation, you will receive a confirmation email within 48 hours. Please check your email promptly.

If the minimum group size is not reached, a cancellation notice will be sent via email 3 days before departure.
