2025 Limited-Time Event – Yūtoku Inari Shrine: Nighttime Fox Wedding Procession

This approximately 40-minute nighttime entertainment event is held at Yūtoku Inari Shrine in Kashima City, Saga Prefecture, one of Japan’s three great Inari shrines.

Last year, the event attracted more than 20,000 visitors and local residents, who enjoyed a nighttime spectacle completely different from the daytime atmosphere.

Within the vast, nature-rich shrine grounds, including the tower gate, main hall, and Japanese garden, the spaces are beautifully illuminated, with projection mapping displayed inside the main hall.

Guests wear a fox mask and become participants in the wedding ceremony, parading through various areas of the shrine.

The event is themed around “cutting off bad ties and welcoming good relationships”, offering a unique Shinto cultural experience in autumn.

In addition, all guests purchasing this plan will receive a limited set of 4 adorable Yūtoku fox candies.

Reservation Policy

• Must be purchased at least one day before use.

• Valid only on the selected date of use.

How to Use

• On the day of the event, please go directly to the Yūtoku Inari Shrine / Sanshūden.

• Present your QR code at the reception to receive your fox mask and special candy.

By Car:

• From Nagasaki Expressway: About 30–40 minutes from Takeo-Kitagata IC or Ureshino IC toward Kashima.

• Free parking available for up to 3,000 vehicles.

By Train:

• From Saga City: JR Nagasaki Main Line Limited Express, Saga Station → Hizen-Kashima Station (approx. 20 min)

• From Nagasaki City: JR Nagasaki Main Line Limited Express, Nagasaki Station → Hizen-Kashima Station (approx. 1 hr)

• From Fukuoka City: JR Nagasaki Main Line Limited Express, Hakata Station → Hizen-Kashima Station (approx. 1 hr)

• The venue may be dark at night. Please watch your step and be aware of your surroundings. Extra caution is advised when accompanying children or elderly guests to prevent falls or accidents.

• The venue may become crowded. Please be considerate of others and avoid blocking aisles or walkways.

• Pets are not allowed inside the venue.

• Food and drinks are not allowed inside the venue.

• In case of rain or severe weather, the event may be canceled. Announcements will be posted on the official website around 15:00 on the same day.

• Preschool children (under 6 years old) may enter for free. However, the fox mask and candies are not included.
