Brighton Beach Bathing Boxes – Puffing Billy Steam Train – Nobbies Centre – Penguin Parade

The first stop is the iconic Brighton Bathing Boxes. These 82 colorful huts are famous for their consistent size, design, materials, and sentinel-like alignment on the Brighton foreshore. Since the late 19th century, Brighton has been one of Melbourne’s most beloved seaside holiday destinations. Today, the bathing boxes stand as cultural treasures and landmarks.

Next, visit Maru Koala & Animal Park, a family-run attraction where you can encounter koalas, wombats, crocodiles, kangaroos, Australian birds, wallabies, Tasmanian devils, dingoes, emus, and more!

Board the Puffing Billy Steam Train, Australia’s oldest steam railway. Its stations are modeled after traditional English village stops, and the railway runs through native forest parks and the lush Dandenong Ranges. Along the journey, enjoy views of fern-filled valleys and towering mountain ash trees for a tranquil and scenic experience.

Continue to the western end of Phillip Island to visit the Nobbies Centre, a rugged rocky outcrop with breathtaking coastal views. Here you may spot seals resting on the rocks or playing in the sea.

At sunset, head to Summerland Beach and take your spot on the boardwalk. Watch hundreds of little penguins waddle ashore, crossing the beach to return to their sand dune burrows. From the boardwalk and viewing platforms, marvel at the world’s smallest penguins in their natural habitat. Explore the visitor center’s educational displays and enjoy the dramatic coastal scenery of the Penguin Parade—a true highlight of your trip.

After the Penguin Parade, we will depart Phillip Island, returning to Melbourne’s Central Business District around 11:30 PM.

  • Departure time may vary depending on the Puffing Billy schedule. The final meeting time will be sent the day before departure. Please check the final confirmation provided by the supplier.

• Children aged 4–15 must occupy their own seat and wear a seatbelt.

• As part of the tour, you may participate in physical, leisure, or recreational activities that involve exertion or risk (classified as “recreational services”).

• To align with the train schedule, we recommend having lunch prior to departure.

• Please arrive at the designated location at least 10 minutes in advance. To avoid delays to subsequent itineraries, late arrivals will not be accommodated.

• Exact departure time will be between 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM. The confirmed time will be provided via SMS or email 12 hours before departure. Please be sure to check the final meeting time.
