When you come to the aquarium, of course, you want to see some difference! In order to provide a better understanding of creatures to the visitors, the Kagoshima City Aquarium has arranged various performances such as dolphin performances, whale sharks feeding, and electric squid performances to look at the vivid creature's posture. In addition, there are also guided tours in the museum which allow staffs to give you a lesson in creatures! The special feature of the Kagoshima City Aquarium is the outlook space on the 5/F, where you can directly see the magnificent view of Sakurajima. This marine environment is colorful; we are waiting for you to explore more!

• Flash photography is prohibited at the Kurosio Great Water Tank (2/F), Bigfin Reef Squid Tank (4/F) and Sea Otter Pool (1/F)
• Intoxicated patrons will not be allowed to enter the aquarium
• Pets are not allowed inside the aquarium
• Wheelchairs and strollers are rented out on a first-come, first-served basis
• Coin operated lockers can be found at the general and group entrances
• Visits may re-enter the aquarium only on the day their admission ticket was purchased. Please note a simple application form must be completed to do so
• Validity: valid for 60 days from the day of purchase
• Customers are recommended to purchase the pass within 60 days prior to the date of use
• If customers fail to exchange and use the card within the valid period, our company will not be held responsible
