【Shenkeng Old Street】: The name "Shenkeng" (Deep Pit) comes from its geographical location, surrounded by mountains resembling a pit bottom. In the past, Shenkeng was a necessary route between Taipei and Yilan. Coupled with it being a distribution center for tea and dyes from nearby areas, this led to the formation of today's Shenkeng Old Street. The old street entrance features a large banyan tree landmark and is most famous for its tofu delicacies, attracting many tourists.
