中華門建於600年前的明代，是我國現存最大的甕城，有重要的歷史及軍事價值。 甕城的運作原理是先引敵人入城，然後關上「千斤閘」， 讓敵人別無退路。惜「千斤閘」已在戰火中被毀。然而，城門及甕城的藏兵洞還是清晰可見。遊人由此可以想象曾經的烽火歲月。最後，請登上城門之端，把南京城的風光盡收眼底。數百年前，多少英雄大將在這裡遙看遠方，運籌帷幄。
