Kansai Wide Area Rail Pass (5 Days)

1. After a successful reservation, a confirmation email will be automatically sent to the email address provided during booking.

2. Please present the confirmation code or QR code, along with your non-Japanese passport, at a designated station ticket machine (see the reference image below) to exchange for a physical rail pass.

   • The ticket machines support five languages: Japanese, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, English, and Korean.

   • For exchange locations, please check: Exchange Locations

   • If the ticket machine is out of service or your passport does not have an IC chip, please proceed to the designated station’s Green Window (Midori no Madoguchi) for ticket exchange.

3. Once exchanged, the physical pass is ready for use.

4. Reserving a designated seat: Before using the pass, present it at a Green Ticket Machine to obtain a designated seat ticket.

Wakayama Enjoy Pass (1 Week Free Pass)

• After booking, travelers will receive a PDF file via email.

• During the visit, please present the QR code or exchange it for a physical ticket at participating facilities.

Usage Rules:

• Each facility can only be used once (no re-entry to the same facility).

• Pass validity: The ticket must be used within 270 days from the purchase date.

  • Example: If purchased on January 1, the pass must be activated by September 28.

• Once activated, the pass must be used within 7 days.

  • Example: If the first facility is used on July 1, the pass remains valid until July 7.

• Users can select any 3 facilities within the valid period.

• Once activated, the 7-day usage period cannot exceed the 270-day validity period.

  • Example: If the pass validity is January 1 – September 28, and you start using it on September 27, it will only be valid until September 28.

• Unused facilities cannot be refunded.

• Each person can only use one pass per visit.

Eligibility & Applicable Users:

Kansai Wide Area Rail Pass (5 Days):

1. Available for individuals aged 12 and above (as of the exchange date or the time of purchase).

2. Must hold a passport issued by a country outside Japan.

3. Must have a "Temporary Visitor" status of residence, as defined by the Japanese Immigration Law.

Wakayama Enjoy Pass (1 Week Free Pass):

• No age restrictions – available for both adults and children.

Confirmation Details:

• Two-step confirmation required: After a successful booking, you will receive a confirmation email and an e-voucher within 48 hours. Please check your email inbox.

• This package includes the Wakayama Enjoy Pass (3 facilities) + Kansai Wide Area Rail Pass (5 Days).

• Voucher Exchange Validity: The voucher must be exchanged within 90 days from the purchase date.

  • Example: If purchased on July 1, the voucher must be exchanged by September 28.

• Pass Validity After Activation:

  • Once the first facility is used, the pass is valid for 7 days.

  • The 7-day validity period cannot exceed the original exchange deadline on the voucher.

• Facility & Coupon Usage:
