Otaru Asarigawa Ski Resort
Located in the charming city of Otaru, Asarigawa Ski Resort is a paradise for ski lovers in Hokkaido. Famous for its abundant snowfall and clean, high-quality powder, it offers one of the purest skiing experiences you can find. Wide slopes stretch like a horizon of white, surrounded by thick blankets of snow that make you feel as though you’ve stepped into a silver winter dream. The resort has modern facilities, slopes for all levels, and attentive services. Ski Packages

• Standard Package: Bus transfer, ski instructor fee, ski poles (ski) or snowboard, boots, helmet, goggles, and lift pass

• Deluxe Package: Bus transfer, ski instructor fee, ski poles (ski) or snowboard, boots, helmet, goggles, lift pass, ski jacket, and ski pants

• Self-Guided Ski Package: Bus transfer, snowboard, boots, ski poles, helmet, goggles, lift pass, ski jacket, and ski pants

Notes

• Participants must be at least 130 cm tall. Children aged 8–12 must be accompanied by a parent. This tour is not available for children under 7 years old.

• Guests who choose skiing or snowboarding may be assigned to separate buses without prior notice. Arrangements are subject to the situation on the day.

• Depending on ski resort operations, guests in the same group who book different packages may be arranged on separate buses and/or at different ski resorts.

Itinerary

• 07:45 Meet at JR Sapporo Station North Exit, Group Bus Boarding Area No. 5
  Staff will hold a signboard reading “Ski Day Tour.” Please confirm your name with the staff, who will guide you to the bus.
  As Sapporo Station is under construction, please allow extra time to reach the meeting point.

• 08:00 Depart from JR Sapporo Station North Exit (on time)

• 09:00 Pick up and change into ski equipment

• 10:00 Ski lesson (approx. 2 hours in the morning)

• 12:00 Lunch (approx. 1 hour, self-arranged)

• 13:00 Ski lesson (approx. 2 hours in the afternoon)

• 15:00 End of ski experience, return equipment

• 17:30 Arrive back at JR Sapporo Station North Exit

Important Notes

• Please arrive at the designated meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance. To avoid delays, the bus will depart on time and will not wait for late arrivals.

• Please always keep in mind: Safety First. This activity is not recommended for those with medical conditions, pregnant women, or elderly participants.

• Travel insurance is not included in this tour. We strongly recommend that you purchase travel or accident insurance before departure.

• In case of delays caused by traffic or bad weather, we kindly ask for your understanding.

• Skiing is a high-adrenaline sport. Instructors are responsible for teaching skiing knowledge and techniques but are not responsible for personal safety and cannot attend to every participant at all times. Please act within your abilities.

• Each instructor will take up to 10 participants per group, depending on the actual situation.

• Before taking the ski lift, the instructor will provide safety advice based on your skill level. In principle, all participants may take the lift, but please follow the instructor’s guidance.

• If the activity is canceled due to severe weather or other unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will be provided.

• Depending on ski resort operations, the itinerary may be canceled or the ski resort changed. In case of cancellation, a full refund will be issued.

• Please take care of your personal belongings at the ski resort. We are not responsible for any loss or damage.

• For smaller groups, transportation may be arranged with a HIACE van or minibus.

• Please bring your own gloves. If you do not have any, you can purchase them on-site (approx. 1,000 JPY).

• Guests who choose skiing or snowboarding may be assigned to separate buses without prior notice. Arrangements are subject to the situation on the day.

• If guests in the same group book different packages, they may be assigned to different buses or ski resorts depending on ski resort operations.

• Independent travel to the ski resort is not allowed. All participants must depart together from the designated meeting point.

• For the Self-Guided Ski Package, please carefully choose slopes according to your skill level and avoid mid- to high-level ski areas for safety reasons.

Booking Confirmation

• This product requires double confirmation. Within 48 hours after a successful booking, you will receive a confirmation email. Please check your inbox.

• If the minimum number of participants is not reached, you will receive a cancellation email 4 days before departure.

• If you do not receive the confirmation email within the stated time (including in your spam folder), please contact our travel consultant via email or call +852 2152-3599 during office hours.

How to Use

• Please present either a printed voucher or an electronic voucher on your mobile phone when participating in the activity.

• Meeting details: Please arrive at the meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance.

• If you arrive early, kindly wait near the designated meeting area.

Cancellation Policy

• Once your booking is confirmed, no cancellations or changes are allowed.
