This plan allows you to experience Japan’s traditional culture all at once — hot springs, tea ceremony, and Japanese gardens.

The “hot spring” refers to Hotel Mimatsu, a long-established inn with over 50 years of history, founded in connection with Awara Onsen, which has been renowned since 1883 (Meiji 16). The Taiyō Hall, featuring a dome-style open atmosphere, and the Meigetsu Hall, themed around the full moon, are both highlights.
Note: Each guest may enjoy the hot spring once only. Taiyō Hall is for men, and Meigetsu Hall is for women.

Supervised by Chalaku KAGUYA, Horikawa Tea Shop is a long-standing establishment founded in the early Meiji era. It once cultivated tea in the Echizen region and has received numerous awards from national tea associations. Although there are no longer tea plantations in Fukui Prefecture, the fifth-generation owner continues to work closely with tea farmers nationwide, dedicating himself to preserving Japan’s tea culture and developing modern Japanese tea. At the facility, experienced staff will guide you through a matcha tea ceremony from the basics, allowing you to relax and enjoy the experience with ease.

In addition, the facility features a spacious Japanese garden spanning over 100 tatami mats. After bathing, you can take a refreshing stroll while admiring the beautiful garden — a truly pleasant experience.

Dango Grilling & Dining Experience:
10:30–11:30 / 12:30–13:30 (depending on your selected entry time)
Feel free to grill your rice dumplings to your liking and enjoy the flavor. You can also taste special Japanese tea prepared by a local tea shop.

Meeting Time: Before 10:20 or 12:20 at the in-house café “Chalaku KAGUYA” (depending on your selected entry time)
Finish Time: Please leave within 2 hours after the experience starts.
Hot spring and garden stroll times are not included (you may enjoy them before or after the experience).
