Lake Shikaribetsu Cruise

Located within Daisetsuzan National Park, this is the only natural lake in the park.
At an altitude of 810 meters, it is the highest lake in Hokkaido and is also known as the “Lake in the Sky.”
Take a 25-minute sightseeing boat tour around the lake to enjoy the colorful autumn leaves along the shores and their stunning reflections on the water.

• Meet at Sapporo Station North Exit bus parking area or Asahikawa Station (Gather at 8:50, depart at 9:00)

• Tokachitei – Lunch: hot buckwheat noodles & pork rice bowl (approx. 60 minutes)

• Fukuhara Sanso – Free exploration (approx. 50 minutes)

• Lake Shikaribetsu sightseeing cruise (approx. 25 minutes)

• Around 19:00 – Return to meeting point

※ This tour is a local bus tour in Japan, conducted together with Japanese travelers. Written notes will be provided in both Chinese and English. The tour conductor speaks only Japanese but will carry a tablet with translation functions. In case of emergency, you may seek assistance from the conductor.

About Tours Not Yet Confirmed

• If the tour is canceled, notification will be sent by email 4 days prior to departure.

• This tour accepts bookings for a minimum of 1 participant.

• The tour conductor/staff will hold a signboard reading “Hankyu Travel International / Trapics” (signboard or flag). Please check your route name carefully and present your name to the staff when checking in. Please gather with your companions before proceeding to check-in. If there are any changes in your participant details on the day, please be sure to inform the staff.

• There will be no tour guide; only a tour conductor will accompany the group. (The conductor is responsible for managing the itinerary and schedule only.) Under Japanese law, the conductor cannot stand and give explanations during bus travel. The conductor will not provide guidance at sightseeing spots.

• As this is a group tour, due to bus seat arrangements and reservation conditions, members of the same booking may be seated separately (front/rear rows). Seat requests will not be accepted. Seat assignments for trains, ships, and buses cannot be specified. Thank you for your understanding.

• The tour fee for children aged 6 and above is the same as adults.

• For children aged 3 to under 6, the fee only includes a bus seat (no other inclusions).

• The autumn foliage season is subject to weather conditions and may start earlier or later than expected.

• For electric buses, due to high demand, seats may not always be available. Your understanding is appreciated.

• If the minimum number of participants is not met, you will receive a cancellation notice 4 days prior to departure.

How to Use

• Please present either a printed voucher or an electronic voucher on your mobile device when joining the tour.

• Meeting point: Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the meeting time.

• If you arrive early, kindly wait near the designated meeting location.
