Tour Introduction

Depart from the resort and head to Uluru–Kata Tjuta National Park.
Kata Tjuta, covering about 40 square kilometers, consists of 36 massive domed rock formations of varying sizes and heights. It is the most sacred site for Anangu men but off-limits to Anangu women. En route, stop at a viewing platform to enjoy both panoramic and close-up views of Kata Tjuta.

Continue to Walpa Gorge for a one-hour guided walk. Walk between the two tallest domes of Kata Tjuta, uncover its ancient history, and observe the thriving plant life within the gorge. The contrast of red earth, green trees, and blue sky offers a truly breathtaking natural experience.

Next, proceed to the Uluru Sunset Viewing Area, where you’ll find the best spot to watch the magnificent sunset over Uluru. As the sun sets, the rock’s color changes with the shifting light and angle, creating a mesmerizing scene you’ll never forget. After sunset, return to the resort.

Round-trip transfer by air-conditioned coach between Ayers Rock Resort and hotels around Yulara Town.

Important Notes

• A peak season surcharge will be applied from December 24 to January 2, payable on-site.

• Children aged 2–15 must be accompanied by an adult.

• Travel Tips: Bring drinking water, a warm jacket (for winter), comfortable shoes, a fly net, sunglasses, a sun hat, and sunscreen.

• Fitness Requirement: Beginner level. The tour includes a walk in Walpa Gorge. Guests who are unable to complete the walk may return to the vehicle to rest at any time.

• Prices include GST and related government taxes. If the National Park or service providers adjust their pricing, the tour price will be updated accordingly without prior notice.

• The tour operator reserves the right to alter or cancel the itinerary due to road closures, weather conditions, or insufficient participant numbers.

• In the event of insufficient participants, the operator may cancel or switch guests to an English-speaking tour.

• The operator does not guarantee exact arrival or departure times and is not responsible for any missed connections with other tours or transportation.

• If the itinerary is changed due to weather, road conditions, or force majeure, any additional costs incurred will be at the traveler’s own expense.

• Travelers are strongly advised to purchase travel insurance prior to booking or departure.

How to Use
