  • 【Yongpyong Ski Tour Common Questions for Beginners】
  • Q: First time skiing, do I need to bring my own ski equipment?
  • The Tour fee already includes four days of ski equipment (Ski or Snowboard). There is no need to bring your own or rent separately. If you wish to upgrade equipment or extend usage time, you can rent on-site at the ski resort. The market rate is approximately ₩10,000–30,000 per day, and equipment for 3–4 hours is about ₩12,000. Prices are subject to the ski resort's announcement on the day. Personal warm clothing such as ski wear, gloves, and goggles are recommended to be brought along. The ski resort also offers rental services.
  • Q: How many days of ski passes, lift tickets, and equipment are included in the Tour fee?
  • This Tour guarantees three consecutive nights' stay at Yongpyong Resort. The Tour fee includes four days of ski equipment and three days of lift tickets. It also includes a beginner ski lesson guided by professional instructors; experienced guests can choose full-day free skiing. The itinerary includes full-day skiing at Yongpyong Resort on the second and third days, with the option to participate in night skiing (19:00–23:00, subject to the ski resort's announcement on the day, with no separate notification or compensation).
  • Q: Are there Chinese-speaking instructors? How many guests does one instructor lead in the beginner class?
  • The beginner class is guided by professional instructors from the ski resort. Group sizes will be determined based on the number of participants in the Tour and the ski resort's arrangements on the day, generally conducted in small groups. If you have specific requirements regarding instructor language or group arrangements, please inform the Travel Expert at the time of booking, or call the Ski Hotline 3700 2688 for inquiries. Our company will coordinate based on the actual situation at the ski resort.
  • Q: Which month is best for skiing at Yongpyong in terms of snow conditions?
  • Yongpyong's average annual snowfall is about 250 cm. The ski season generally lasts from December to late February. This Tour in 2027 has departure dates on January 3, January 24, February 14, and March 1, with only four Tours scheduled. Departures in January to February offer the most stable snow quality. In early March, the ski resort uses artificial snowmaking to maintain slope operations.
  • Q: Is it a direct flight or do we need to transfer via Seoul for a shuttle bus?
  • This Tour guarantees travel with Korean Air, departing on a late-night flight and returning on an evening flight, for a full five days of fun. Upon arrival at Incheon Airport, a dedicated vehicle will take you directly to Yongpyong Resort, with a journey time of approximately 2.5 hours. No separate shuttle transfer is required. The night before the return journey guarantees a stay at a Hotel in downtown Seoul, convenient for free activities and shopping.
  • Q: Can non-skiing companions join?
  • Yes. The resort has dining, shopping, and leisure facilities. Breakfast and dinner are arranged as Hotel buffets within the resort. The latter part of the itinerary includes a visit to Seoul, with arrangements for a Michelin-recommended century-old ginseng chicken soup restaurant and free time in Hongdae. Non-skiing companions can participate in the entire itinerary.
  • This product requires 2 confirmations. After successful payment, our company will process the order immediately. If the Tour cannot be formed, you will be notified by email or phone call before departure.

  • This Tour does not include a pre-departure briefing.
