The temple is a long-renowned Buddhist monastery in the inland northwest. The temple grounds are filled with ancient buildings and towering old trees, creating a beautiful environment. Here you can find a rare Xixia minority religious hall, a massive indoor clay reclining Buddha, a rare Ming Dynasty handwritten gold scripture, and thousands of exquisite cultural relics in the collection.

【Rainbow Mountains】: Zhangye Rainbow Mountains is located at the border of Linze County and Sunan County in Gansu Province, famous for its unique multi-colored rocks in red, yellow, green, white, and other hues, forming the renowned 'Colorful Hills' with interbedded layers. This colorful landscape was formed approximately 24 million years ago and is most spectacular under the sunset, ranking as one of China's Seven Most Beautiful Danxia Landforms. 【Jiayuguan Pass】: Shangri-La is located in the Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in northwestern Yunnan Province, at the heart of the triangular region of Sichuan, Yunnan, and Tibet. Originally named Zhongdian County, it was renamed Shangri-La due to its striking resemblance to the earthly paradise described in James Hilton's novel 'Lost Horizon'. *Warm reminder: Zhangye to Jiayuguan (approx. 3-hour drive).

【Singing Sand Mountains, Crescent Moon Spring】: The Singing Sand Mountains and Crescent Moon Spring are associated with a moving legend. It is said that during the Han Dynasty, a general leading his army on a western expedition was besieged by enemy forces at the Singing Sand Mountains, running out of food and water. The general's determination and the soldiers' loyalty moved heaven. In despair, he drew his sword and slashed the ground, whereupon a clear spring gushed forth, shaped like a crescent moon, saving the entire army. This is the origin of Crescent Moon Spring.
